Hey Julian,
Interesting job you have, although trikes are not my cup-a-tea (yet).
Can you tell us why the Blue Rocket doesn’t have this leading link fork? Is it a customer’s wish or will it be installed later?
As you might know, I’m pretty much interested in two-wheel-drive.
For example I can see the black Yam has chain drive and a diff like in chain-driven kit-cars and all the Triumphs have shaft-drive with a differential. Is it Quaife?
Perhaps you can tell a littlebit more about the diffs that are used with both chain and shaft-drive? Would enjoy to read about that.

THE DIFFS THAT WE USE ARE FORD BASED WITH DIFFERENT INTERNALS FOR THE SHAFT DRIVE BIKES TO GET AS CLOSE AS POSSIBLE TO THE FINAL DRIVE RATIO OF THE BIKE,THE CHAIN AND BELT DRIVE BIKES HAS A DIFF THAT WE MAKE OURSELVES,WE USE QUAIFE BOXES FOR CUSTOMERS WHO REQUIRE A REVERSE BE IT CHAIN OR SHAFT, ON HARLEYS I INSTALL A CHAMPION REVERSE 5 OR 6 SPEED

Sierra, I assume.

I suggested that once for Babi's rig.
Furthermore I have looked once or twice for the chain-to-shaft conversion of the Busa and the Blackbird. They might be interesting for sidecars.
Also the conversion from the left to the right (Quaife) for these type of bikes, I find interesting, but I'm sure you haven't ever looked at it, since you have your chairs on the wrong side of the bike

IM NOT SURE WHAT YOU MEAN WHEN YOU SAY COVERTING FROM LEFT TO RIGHT USING A QUAIFE
,AND YOU HAVE LOST ME ON CHAIN TO SHAFT ON THE BUSA AND BLACKBIRD

Yes, it's getting a bit technical

Since I don't have the pictures anymore (or available at the moment) because of my computercrash, we'll talk about that later on (personal) since I don't want to give any ideas away
(it's used for motorcyle-engine-based kit-cars, but can in my opinion be used for sidecars too

I will first look for the pics)

THANKS FOR THAT RICHARD,NOW I KNOW WHAT YOU MEANT BY CHAIN TO SHAFT,I ASSUME THAT THE PLATE FITS ONTO THE SPLINES OF THE FRONT SPROCKET,THE QUAIFE IS THE SAME AS WE USE FOR CHAIN DRIVE REVERSE,THE PICTURE OF THE LAST SHAFT LOOKS A BIT TASTY,WHAT WOULD THAT BE USED FOR.

hey Jules,
yesterday I saw a trike-bike hanging on the trailerhook of a van.
the front wheel was hanging in a kind of triangle, the wheel was off the ground.
and the rearwheels were turning around like wenn you are driving!
but the engine was nut running!
I think that this is a cheap and easy way off transporting a trike,
but is it realy gut for the trike? I mean the engine?
Do you know anything about this?
I didn't have my fotocamera with me, otherweils I have made a picture of it.
greetings Leopold
(the one who don't like to drive a chopper!

HI LEOPOLD,I HAVE SEEN THESE THINGS AND THEY ARE LIKE YOU SAY A CHEAP AND EASY WAY TO TOW A TRIKE,I CANT SEE THAT IT WOULD DO ANY DAMAGE TO THE TRIKE AS LONG AS ITS IN NEUTRAL AND THE ROADS THAT IT TRAVELS ISNT TOO ROUGH,CHEERS COCK!!(GRUMPY WELSH/ENGLISH TWAT THAT LIKES TO TRAVEL BUT NOT ON A CHOPPER)
